Grilled Hamburgers

Normally we have turkey burgers instead of beef hamburgers, but sometimes you just need red meat.  Paul did a fabulous job on grilling these beauties.  I bow down to his mastery over fire...yes yes.  A simple meal that really hit the spot.

You could leave out the egg whites if you wish....I always add them just to make sure my patties stay together nice and tight.

Hamburgers

1 lb lean ground beef
2 egg whites, beaten lightly
1 tbls worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
4 slices turkey bacon
1/2 sweet onion, sliced
romaine lettuce
hamburger buns

Mix together beef, egg whites, worchestershire sauce, and black pepper.  Form into four patties.  Grill to desired level of doneness, spreading on BBQ sauce as the burgers cook.  Serve on multi-grain buns with bacon, onion, and lettuce.

Oven Wedges

3 Russet Potatoes
Seasoned Salt (Cajun is our favorite)
Pepper

Slice the potatoes into strips and place on greased cookie sheet.  Spray with PAM and sprinkle on seasoned salt and pepper.  Bake at 425 for 20 minutes, flipping strips over at the 10 minute mark.

I've never used egg in mine...I'll have to keep that in mind. Good idea.
